BioThis is not strictly a sockpuppet account, but it isn't my main LJ. It was created so that I could explore both being more fannish and more snarky than I normally would be under my regular account.
The username comes from the ancient Greek epithet for aristocrats. It translates as "beautiful and good." You can interpret it as feminine and singular (the beautiful and good woman--me) or plural and neutral (beautiful and good things.) Either way works for me. :D
In my real life, I'm a teacher and student of literature, especially Greek, Latin and British literature. I'm starting a PhD in the Fall of 2008.
